Mental Health Matters
The above phrase has become very popular in recent years, so much so that people don’t always think about the impact that mental health can have on people’s everyday lives. Our mental health impacts on our ability to look after ourselves and others, learn and achieve, the quality of our family, social and romantic relationships and our general ability to live full and enjoyable lives.
As a Therapist, I am interested in many aspects of mental health; what experiences can lead to a deterioration in mental health, how trauma effects our brain development and what we can do to positively improve our own emotional well-being. This section will cover these areas and much more.
